Our History
Over 20 years ago, Andrew Muggleton began designing interiors components for the auto industry for companies including Daimler-Benz AG and The Ford Motor Company in Europe. He took this knowledge and design concepts with him, when in 1999, he started his own design company in Boulder, Colorado, USA. This was where, in the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains, he began to develop and create his first line of furniture designs.
Since Andrew began designing furniture, his work has been on display at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, the Sculptural Object & Functional Art (SOFA) in Chicago and in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC. His work has also been featured in many leading design magazine and journals including the Robb Report Collection, International Design Magazine and the Washington Post.
From designing at home and building his pieces in his garage in Boulder Colorado, when he first started his company, Andrew Muggleton now runs his design studio in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Where he continues to make furniture for some of the same clients as he did when he first started, as well as just recently producing his well know Balustrade chaise to be used for the Wynn Casino Spa in Macau, China.
Returning to Europe, Andrew Muggleton has continued his furniture design work, but also revisited his roots to continue developing new product designs for individuals and companies.
